I have taken a hiatus from blogging....but now I'm back! I plan to blog once a week from here on.

So....what about purple? It seems to be a hot new color that even some of my more traditional clients are using! I recently met with a client who used a color called Sequoya from Benjamin Moore in her living room.....wow, this is a color I would not have chosen in a million years, but it looked fantastic. It is a warm brown tone with purple and red undertones....dare I say mauve, but in a good way!

Another purple that has been popular is Pelt from Farrow & Ball. This is a deep, rich aubergine color. Pelt would add drama to a panelled room or even in small amounts on crown mouldings. It will go well will taupes, grays, and whites which makes it a perfect compliment to today's color pallet!
